Dr Geoff Thomas

Dr Geoffrey Thomas graduated from Monash University with Honours in 1981. He worked as an intern and resident medical officer at Dandenong District Hospital for three years, gaining experience in the general medical field. In 1985 he returned to his alma mater to demonstrate anatomy to Monash University medical students. In this year Dr Thomas obtained his Diploma of Anatomy from the Anatomical Society of Australia and New Zealand. He then underwent Radiology training at the Alfred Hospital Melbourne and obtained his fellowship in 1990. Since that time Dr Thomas has been practicing Radiology both in the public and private sector. During this time he has gained considerable experience in various aspects of Breast imaging through the Victorian BreastScreen program and also musculoskeletal intervention in private practice.

Dr Thomas has an ongoing special interest in breast imaging and he maintains a visiting medical officer position at Southern Health within the Monash BreastScreen Program. Dr Thomas spends most of his time in general private practice and is a staff Radiologist at MDI Radiology.
