Dr Andrew Baldey

Dr Andrew Baldey completed his Radiology studies in 1995 and subsequently trained in Nuclear Medicine at the Royal Melbourne and Alfred Hospitals. He then continued as a VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) at the Alfred Hospital and worked in private practice with Radclin Medical Imaging. Dr Baldey joined MDI Radiology in February 2008 as Director of Nuclear Medicine.
Previously he was Director of PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and Nuclear Medicine at Moorabbin Hospital. Whilst at Moorabbin, he supervised Nuclear Medicine registrar training and was actively involved in research.
Dr Baldey has considerable expertise in Nuclear Cardiology, Oncology and General Nuclear Medicine. He has taken MDI Radiology to the forefront of Nuclear Medicine. Dr Andrew Baldey currently holds the position of Director at MDI Radiology Frankston.
