MDI Radiology is a specialist radiologist owned and directed medical imaging company, with 11 convenient imaging centres throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area. Each of our comprehensive sites is directed by a full-time radiologist, ensuring incomparable service resulting in strong relationships with the referring clinicians. Moreover, this strengthens imaging protocols, enabling us to meet specific patient requirements.

The company's strategic direction is governed by a Board of directors and chaired by Mr Richard Earl, the principal of a Melbourne based legal firm. He has had a long involvement in the radiology industry and specialises in corporate and commercial law.

Dr Alain Lavoipierre, Director of Radiology, is responsible for all medical matters related to our doctors and the practice of radiology at the clinics.

An operations management group comprised of the radiologists and the general manager, provides direction for the day to day running of the business.

In addition, a business management team consisting of the general manager, finance, human resources, marketing, and IT, provide support and advice for the imaging centres.
